Norwich Castle Museum: At home in a dolls’ house exhibition
A collection of treasured dolls’ houses marking 300 years of history has gone on display.
The 12 properties – ranging from a Georgian town house to a country mansion and high-rise apartment – reveal changes in how we live, as well as developments in architecture and the arrival of technology in the home.
The collection also features a number of miniature rooms created by Norfolk architects, artists and schools tasked with designing a “dream house of aspirations and imagination”.
The exhibition at Norwich Castle Museum is on loan from the V&A Museum of Childhood until 25 June.
